A 20-panel accordion book that shares three stories about the 2018 false ballistic missile alert in Hawaiʻi.
This design uses emojis and text message bubbles as the theme to represent the different emotions people were feeling at the time and the panic of contacting all of our loved ones.

CONTENTS OF THE BOOK
At 8:07 AM on January 13, 2018, residents of Hawaiʻi were informed that they were under the threat of an inbound ballistic missile. Shortly after that day Kumu Kahua Theatre broadcasted a call for submissions from playwrights inspired by that Saturday morning. Select scenes were then presented by an ensemble of actors.
